Tanya Sablok is the Editor in Chief of Blog Khwaeesh, and the editor for URI North Zone: India and Afghanistan. She holds a Masters degree in Peace and Conflict studies from Nelson Mandela Centre for Peace and Conflict Resolution, Jamia Millia Islamia, and possesses extensive experience in the fields of social development, human resource management, communications, project development and business development. Being an advocate of humanitarian and peace values, she is passionate about interweaving these into unravelling the questions around environmental peace, structural transformation, education for peace, development and positive peace- through an interfaith and educational approach.
Along with maintaining her alliance with the grassroots networks, her research interests are in the fields of Peace Education and Religious Sensitisation in Schools, Education for Peace- Gap in Policy and Practice, Structural Violence, Interfaith Peacebuilding, Gender- Conflict & Peace, Climate Action for Peace and Conflict Transformation. She aims to dedicate her experience and knowledge in transforming herself and societies, eventually creating ripples of change.
